I generally love Marie Bostwick’s books … I liked this one, but didn’t LOVE it. I really liked this book … but I think overall, I liked “The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek” a tad bit better. I know there is some controversy surrounding this title, and whether or not the idea(s) were plagiarized — it’s hard to tell. There are some similarities.
